I build scientific software and computing infrastructure for demanding numerical simulations in physics and beyond.

Current Work

I am a Research Software Engineer at VU Amsterdam and a developer and maintainer of ADA, VU Amsterdam’s HPC cluster for research computing. Alongside this, I collaborate with researchers across various disciplines on scientific software, with a focus on making computational research robust, scalable, and maintainable.

Interests

  • Scientific computing and high-performance numerical simulations
  • Computational condensed matter, mesoscopic physics, and interacting electron systems
  • Algorithms for simulations near compute and memory limits

Outside Work

I enjoy tinkering with numerical simulation techniques, bouldering, hiking, and camping.
